About the Photographer

My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for a sense of place—the landscapes, structures, and quiet details that often go unnoticed. With a film camera in hand from an early age, I found a lasting connection to image-making as a way to observe and preserve the world around me. Based in Benton, Arkansas, I developed my eye for visual storytelling at the Saline Courier Newspaper and sparked an enduring interest in mid-century architecture. As a student in the Digital Arts and Media program at National Park College, I have continued to develop both my technical skills and creative perspective. My work focuses primarily on landscape photography, from the natural beauty of Arkansas to the rich colors and textures of the Southwest's desert landscapes. Through this body of work, I explore how photography can capture not only what is seen, but what is felt. My images reflect both personal experience and artistic growth. I invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the character, history, and atmosphere of each place.
